REQ: HP dv9000 Recovery CD

Need recovery cd for my busted laptop. I don't feel like paying HP
another red cent for cd's. If anyone has please post a reply.

There's a known bug in the recovery cd's for this series of laptops.
One of the final stages of the install "adjusts" the disk partitioning and
munges the file systems. Your best bet is to simply install from an xp
disc and manually add drivers.
