Reinstallation Office Pro '07 Question

S

I'm having problems with Office and want to reinstall it to see if that will
help. My understanding is that I have three installations and I think this pc
I'm having the Office problems on is the third one.

The question is this....if I uninstall and reinstall on the same machine,
will there be a problem?

Thanks!

You have Office 2007 Pro and you say the Eula allows for 3 different
installations.Where in the Eula did you see this.

Office 2007 pro is licensed for two devices for use by the individual its
not licensed for use by two persons in your business.
Office 2007 Home & Student is licensed for 3 devices, but not for business
use

If you uninstall and reinstall on the same computer that does not count as
an additional installation. In fact, if you uninstall and reinstall on a
different computer that doesn't either count as an additional installation.
(You aren't supposed to do this at all with an OEM edition.) Number of
installations = number of places installed at one time. Judging from the
repeated questions posted here, many people do not understand this.

Word, Office Button, Word Options, Resources, About, View the Microsoft
Software License Terms. That will tell you how many installations you may
have at one time.

Hi

I am having a similar situation: I have a Office Home & Student and I am
using 3 copies already. But I will need to format and reinstall everything on
one of my computers, so I should have no problems, is that right??

Thank you all in advance. Regards.

No. You won't have any problems.

If your problem is outside Office 2007, uninstalling and re-installing will
not fix the problem. If the problem is within Office 2007 suggest you
consider the following before uninstalling:

Start a new thread in this or an Office application newsgroup and
clearly describe your problem. Someone may be able to directly help.

Open and Office 2007 application and run Microsoft Office Diagnostics.

From Control Panel, Programs or your Office 2007 installation disc, run
repair.

You should also consider running Windows maintenance programs such as SFC
/scannow and check disc.
