Reg files not sticking

I have had a lot of problems with some of my .reg files.

They install fine, but after other reboots, they disappear from the
right click menu of
Windows explorer.

Anyone know what the heck is going on.

Can you give an example, e.g.
- What is the name of such a file?
- What is its contents?
- Where do you store it?
- What exactly do you mean with "They install fine"

I found the problem.

I had renamed the directory, but had not changed the setting in the
registry file
to reflect the new name. :)
