Refreshing the WMP 11 Library?

I am using WMP 11 and Win 7.

I have a fairly large video library. When I add a file I cannot see it from
my PS3 until sometime when the library refreshes. I changed a file name using
Windows Explorer and the WMP shows the old name. The PS3 sees the old name
too. I even can search under the old name and find the file in WMP. Even when
I play the video the name doesn't update.

Can I refresh the library? Or should I change the windows folder where my
videos are to a smaller one with new videos to play?

Finally, is there any way to make WMP show video files in the Windows
directory fashion so I don't have to wade through hundreds of video names?

Thanks.

Click Organize... dropdown menu in WMP12. When you then choose "Apply
media information changes", is there any effect on the PS3 ?

I think from remembering my mates PS3 view of WMP or the alternative
Twonky media server, that the display you're seeing is a feature of
the PS3, WMP has no influence on the way a 'remote media renderer'
actually displays the file listings.
