I told you there was a fucking Advanced Settings interface. You then
came back and blathered on about it being inbound only BEFORE YOU'D EVEN
BOTHERED FUCKING LOOKING. And that's why you got the "WTF don't you
actually go take a look first?"

Amen. People like Conor are why I like my dog so much. But don't be too
hard on him. Based on his posts I'd guess he is about 12 years old and
lives in a home where parents, if they are even there, are afraid to put
him over their knees and blister his butt. Combine anger issues with a lack
of discipline, and you have pre-adolescents like this that can't control
their mouth. Give him a few years to grow up, and he may yet become a
valuable contributing member of society.

Jumping from XP to Windows 7 I would give this one piece of navigational
advice. If you can't find something, just type the name of it in the search
box and 9 times out of 10 you will find it immediately. Terms like icon
size, control panel, fonts etc.

Hmm thanks for that. I did exactly that, XP to Windows 7. I shall remember
that:)

Well I'm using it and it's what we're configuring for the 140,000 machines
at my firm.

What is the OS breakdown for those 140,000 machines out of curiosity? A
mixture of things or all upgraded / new to Windows 7?

When done it will be all 140,000 at Windows 7. Right now Zero "production"
clients are on Win7.

It will be all fresh builds.
A) I don't believe in upgrades.
8) Coming from XP ( we were in the beta stages of our in house Vista client
when the decision was finally made to stick with XP and upgrade to SP3, IE7,
Office 2007 and Notes 8.0.2.)

Yes I've been discovering that. I was very worried moving to W 7 after
knowing all the ins and outs of XP but I'm starting to really like W 7
and this is one of its nice features. Saves having to have a lot of
shortcuts. (Having 6 GB of Ram also helps!)

Feel better now jerk?

Stating it give you all the control you will never need does not
translate to it handles both inbound and outbound. I can see where the OP, coming from XP
would not have connected the dots.If you just stated WIN 7 firewall does handle both.

Why do you feel you have the need to be an asshole? The only positive aspect of your replies
is your time spent replyng is time you can't be reproduce; for that we are all thankful.
