That would be the Lancaster Canal, equidistant between Liverpool Top Lock
#1 and Manchester Ship Canal.

That'd be about 30 miles in either direction as the flow cries.

That said, back then, there was a gorgeous 17yr old girl named Barbara
who lived five houses down. I used to climb out of my window, onto the
roof of the garage, shimmy down the drainpipe...

But I digress. Yes, Manchester Ship Canal was easier to get a^to.

The Lancaster Canal is one of the very few waterways I've not yet explored!
http://www.waterscape.com/canals-and-rivers/lancaster-canal

Believe it or not, I *have* cruised down the Manchester Ship Canal from
the river Weaver lock to Ellesmere Port.

Barbara sounds like fun! My equivalent was called Vivienne! ;)

Believe it or not, I don't give a fuck.

> Barbara sounds like fun!

Barbara banged like a barn door in the wind, with every male over the age
of 12 except me. But then, I was only 11.

> My equivalent was called Vivienne! ;)

I don't have any unfulfilled childhood fantasies. I figured if I made one
up then you'd reveal yours. Thanks.

As for being equidistant between Liverpool Top Lock #1 and Manchester
Ship Canal, that too was bullshit. I lived a mere long walk from Wigan
Pier.

I now live by Kupang Bay, Nusa Tenggara Timu, perhaps you could drop in
some time?

Drop into the bay, that is.
