I should amend this to say that I have always had "Custom" set,
with "Use my current..." as every default.

Eudora is not explicitly listed, but does open whenever it should,
having set itself as default, even though not explicitly listed.

Should this matter to the WLM issue,
of not being able to open or display any message?
