Kristy:

First off is it on your desktop that you are clicking the button or are you
in the start menu? If you are on the desktop it could be that the shortcut
keys are out of date and need to changed this could be because of a recent
update. If you are in the start menu you might need to try reinstalling
office. You should have received this when you purchased your computer.
