problem storing password webmail

Hi,

I was looking for a dutch newsgroup for IE8, but can't find one. I try my
luck here.
Since something more than a month I notice that logins and passwords for my
webmail aren't saved on my computer. The link below points to the webmail I
use.

(webmail.ziggo.nl)

A month ago there were two almost simultanelesly (??) changes:
1. there was a new webmailsite (Java)
2. there was a IE8-update concerning the InPrivate-option.

Before the problem I could store my diferent emailadresses ("Windows can
save your login andf password. Do you want that?"). And the next time I
could choose from a listbox on the loginpage.

Since the problem I don't get that Winddowsquestion. After cleaning cookies,
passwords, etc in IE8 I got it once. The login was stored. The next time I
tried I didn't get the answer.
I use XP Home on one machine and Vista on another. I get the same problem on
both machines.

Does anyone have any suggestions what causes the problem? The
webmailapplication, IE8 InPrivate, a combinationof both?

Thabks, world...

Susan

That is actually a very good thing.
Your account will be more resistant to hacking when you don't save
its password on your computer.

I know, but that is not my question.
