Print preview/print re-requesting dynamic image

Hi,
I have a page that display a dynamically created image from a web server.
When I use IE 7 or IE 8 print preview or print functionailty the image is
re-requested from the server by IE.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I notice Firefox doesn't have
the same issue.
