President Obama signs budget deal

While vacationing in Hawaii President Obama signed the bipartisanship budget deal which was announced on December 10, 2013. This is his last official act of 2013. Spending for the next fiscal year is set at $1.012 trillion and the following year at $1.014 trillion, representing an increase by $63 billion over the course of two years.

The president also signed a new military bill [National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014] which disallows Commanders to overturn jury convictions...
