Pioneer BD-ROM - burning dual layer discs

Hi,
I just recently purchased a sony vaio i3 E series notebook. I use
imgbrn to burn
I tried to use imgbrn and the discs burns 50 percent then it dies.
the burner is a pioneer bd-rom bdc td-02 1.01 ATAPI
is there something i’m doing wrong?
it burns the discs for 50% and then it dies (see I/O error message
below)
I configured the layer break to 1913760
Please help – thanks
this is the error message
I/O Error!
Device [0:1:0] PIONEER BD-ROM BDC-TD02.1.01(G (ATAPI)
CDB: 2A 00 00 1D 35 C0 00 00 20 00
Interpretation: Write (10) – Sectors: 1914304 – 1914335
Reason: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device
error.

And what are the kind of double layer DVD discs are you using?
