OnLive is bringing Windows 7 to the iPad, through the cloud. You'll be able to run MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

You access the OS and apps remotely from your tablet because they are in the cloud. OnLive Desktop comes with an on-screen Windows keyboard and supports multi-touch gestures as well as handwriting recognition. The basic, free version of the OnLive Desktop app provides 2 GB of online storage; Paid Pro and Enterprise versions will be available at a later time.

After the release of the iPad version, OnLive plans to launch apps for the iPhone, Android, the PC and Mac. Users can access OnLive Desktop via WiFi and 4G wireless networks but 3G networks aren't supported.

About OnLive
The company delivers popular gaming titles on-demand over the Internet to a compatible device. Currently supporting PCs, Macs and TVs (via a set-top box), subscribers can play console-quality games whenever they wish, without having to download a large file or inserting a physical disk. Think of it as the Netflix of on-demand gaming.
