Office 2010 Updates Fail to Install

I have Office 2010 32bit on a 64 bit Windows 7 Professional computer.
I notice that the automatic Windows Updater fails to install updates
for Office. The Updater keeps trying to install them when I logoff
but Update History shows that these attempts fail. I can install the
updates manually from the microsoftwebsite. Is there anything wrong
with my computer or is there some incompatibility with my version of
office with the Windows Update?

Interesting, what error message you get? Wasn't by any chance :
"WindowsUpdate_000006B2" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" ?
I get this error for some time now. It doesn't bother me much.
Other updates are install correctly but one.

I didn't get an error message. I just see failed next to the update
in update history. Now here is another strange thing. The last two
failed updates on 9/15, KB982726 and KB2288640, are listed as being
installed on the Uninstall Updates page.
