I would like to install my Office 2000 on WIN 7. Will it be compatible? I
don't want to screw up my WIN 7 installation with this, of course. I don't
care about Excel or any other programs that are on the disk. TIA

I'm running Office 2000 with Windows 7 and it works fine...so far. Install
was quick and easy. Word and Excel work just fine. PowerPoint works fine.
Haven't tried Publisher yet, but I haven't needed it for years. Win7 seems
to be as happy as can be.

Most of the programs run fine. Outlook will make you type in your email
password ever time you use it, though.

Office 2010 is available, BETA but probably better than 2000. If you are
bold.
