nVIDIA to acquire AGEIA Technologies

The news that nVIDIA will acquire AGEIA Technologies will not send shivers down anyone's spine. AGEIA has interesting technology but sales were dismal at best.

Will AMD (ATI) worry about this new acquisition? Cash strapped AMD probably wishes they were able to make the purchase but the purchase would have stretched the company too much. They were smart to let it go.
