New Era School Initiative (NESI) is a fictionalized account of existing uses of instructional, learning, and advanced electronic communication technologies in PreK12 schools. Normal (sometimes called Normsville) Unified School District in Normal (sometimes called Normsville), California and Landgrant (sometimes called Normal or Normsville) University in Normal are factionalized descriptions of what real enterprises have done and are doing to increase student learning rates dramatically and promptly and to study these efforts objectively and systematically.
