New computer. Newer version of Windows. Printing color Differences

I just bought a new computer with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007 on it.
Before getting the new system, I had designed all my company letterheads,
paperwork, etc. using Publisher. Well when I go to print them now, the blues
or colors in general are not the same. I've checked to make sure the fonts
are the same and they are. I can't have all my company paperwork printouts
looking different in color. Some of them are logos sent to me from my
advertising agent. Those too are printing out different in color then on my
older computer. How can I fix this? Is there a way to get the colors to
match again? Please give advice, I will try anything to get around having to
re-create them all.

To correct this problem, you need to download the correct drivers
for your printer for Windows 7 (assuming this is your OS). Go to
the website of your printer maker and look if they have the
correct printer drivers for Windows 7. You haven't said anything
about make and model of your printer so I can't help you here.

Do you really print on monitor? I don't! Your assumption is way
out of kilter!

No it isn't. Monitors do not represent the color on the screen exactly like
a print. Did you even read the article before you stuck your foot down your
throat?

Re: New computer. Newer version of Windows. Printing color Differe

Hey Guys, before this turns into a needless 'flaming' let me just point out
that this problem concerns existing files, therefore the monitor is, in this
instance "in the clear".

The monitor advice is good and (assuming he has a new one) it will become
relevant when Mr Reddawg attempts to calibrate the printer, correct the
existing files or create new corporate graphics.

Truce. *grin*
