Network Setup Wizard, where is it?

New PC using Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit, hard wired to 3 Com wireless
modem/router.
Older PC using XP Pro/SP3, wirelessly connected to same router.
Both can access the internet but can't get them to "see" each other.
Trying to set up from Win 7 nothing happens, when I run the Network
Troubleshooter it tells me I need ipv6, that it's not installed but it
definitely is!
If i run the Network Setup wizard in XP then bring the pen drive to the Win
7 and run the netsetup file I get an unspecified error.
Have Zone Alarm Free on both PC's and have set up a trusted zone on each
with a range of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.6.
I thought Win 7 was supposed to make home networking easier, not harder!
I can't find a network setup wizard in Win 7?
Help appreciated.

I guess Your using Home group. That only works if all computers are on WIN
7. Change to work group and all will be well

Many thanks, that was it.
Only problem now is sharing folders like "Downloads", although I have set
sharing for everyone at "\\USER-PC\Downloads", I can't see that folder on
the XP PC although if I copy that path into the Run box on XP I can see the
contents then.
