Hi: I have a friend who started not being able to connect to the internet. Research revealed his Network Adapter is missing from Device Manager. XP Home Edition. Does anyone know what has caused this and a cure? Thanks, ColTom2

If it's a PCI device, try moving it to a different slot. If USB, try a different USB port. If it's built into the motherboard, try re-installing the chipset drivers.
