Have been having a lot of problems in the past with this (Medion) notebook.
GPU temperatures up to 90 degrees C, measured with Everest. By now I have
had 2 new main boards in 2 years time.
The strange thing is that the last few weeks the monitorred GPU temperature
seems to drop to about 66 degrees C. all by itself. No different usage
circumstances. What could be going on?

Is this your model?

Aldi Medion Akoya MD 96640 multimedia notebook

I am trying to figure out which model you have and what video chipset it
is using. As this would tell if this is normal or not.

Well, if you need less info, just don't take notice of it.
