moving Users folder to my data partition?

I'm very new to W 7. I like my data to be on a separate partition for
easier backing up. Is it possible to safely move the C:/Users folder to
that data partition? I notice that it does not have a "Location" tab.

Thanks, Jeff

No. It's possible to move Documents, Favorites, Videos, Pictures, Downloads,
Contacts, Saved Games, Searches and Desktop to a User-created folder on
another drive, but C:/Users you cannot move. AFAIK.

That seems a little limiting - you should be able to put any directory
anywhere.

There are other hidden folders within C:/Users that the system uses AFAIK...
