Can I export my 2003 notes into OneNote 2007? Any other way of showing my
'old' notes from OneNote 2003 in my new software (2007?)

If you open the notebooks in ON2010 they will automatically be
converted.

Pls note: This is a one-way-street. There is no way to downgrade the
notebooks once they are in the new format.
So make sure that you have backups in case you would want to further
work with ON2003.

I believe you can convert from 2010 format back to 2007 format -- and
vice versa:

File | Info | Settings (for each Notebook) | Properties

You will get a warning, I believe, that if you go from 2010 format to
2007 format you may lose special properties that are available only in
2010 format. This is similar to the warning in Word 07 -- where going
from .docx file format to .doc produces a similar warning.

Absolutely correct!!
Thanks for pointing to this, David.

Most serious typo of mine. {grrrrhhh}
As the question was on ON2007 I wrote on the situation *there*.
However, by mistake I typed "210".

Thanks again

Guys, the original question was about converting from 2003 to 2007. In
that situation, the conversion is one-way, at least according to the
info I had at the time I converted my data over. Converting between
2010 and 2007 may be a two-way street, but the 2003->2007 move is one
way only. Therefore, I recommend making a COMPLETE backup of
everything in your OneNote files BEFORE doing any conversion from 2003
format, just in case.

As the saying goes:

"Blessed are the pessimists, for they hath made backups!" :)
