The Verge states Microsoft hints at a future Microsoft Surface cover that will charge the tablet. The new connector pins on the Surface Pro may be able to carry more current, enough current to charge the tablet. Nokia already announced such a cover for their tablets.
Battery life for the Surface Pro will be less than the Surface RT, therefore, any means to improve the time between wall charging is a huge benefit.
Personally Microsoft needs to start looking at how to easily expand the screen size via connecting to a table or a wall. Screen size which is portable and changes based on location would be a nice advance in mobility.
