I seem to have an issue with Internet Explorer 8 on my publisher website.
When the page is viewed in Firefox, Opera, etc. The images on the page a
crystal clear and you can right click and save them like normal. On Internet
Explorer the images are hit and miss grainy and you can't select images right
clicking on them just gives a generic menu like no images exist. How can I
make the webpage render normally.

Hi,

Remove your references to images stored on squiby.net..... they are no
longer available. Contact them.

These images are being served from a mysql database that is falling over.

Here is the return from the link above.

SQL error:

Apart from that Publisher web pages aren't standard html and css (it uses
proprietary MSO (Microsoft Office) and VML tags and layout styles) which
other browsers ignore and which are no longer supported in IE8.

Short answer.... get a Professional to re-write your site using a modern
development tool.

Regards.

Contrary to what you might think, Publisher is NOT an appropriate tool for
creating websites.
