mediaplayer plays all videos in black and white

For some time now my Dell xpx laptop Vindows Vista ultamate displays all
video formats in black and white in mediaplayer. Other players shows videos
correctly.

Reinstalling mediaplayer does not help current version 11.0.6002.18111

How can I sort out this one ?
