Does anyone know how to copy a recorded movie from one file to another that
is 2 hours long?

Can you run that by us again, it's a bit short on detail ?

If you want to copy a file, use Windows Explorer, right-click and
choose Copy then Paste...

If you mean 'append' or 'edit' a file, there are several programs you
can use to do this, windows moviemaker is reasonably convenient.

PapaJohn's site on moviemaker details the steps to do this :

There are various tools for working with media center 'dvr-ms' files
http://babgvant.com/files/folders/dvrmstoolbox/default.aspx
and although windows 7 is moving towards 'wtv' file format it still
has a converter for dvr-ms files.

This really is a windows media player newsgroup, so you'd get much
