Making an SP3 Disc??

While restoring an older PC yesterday, I installed
XP Pro with SP 1 and 2. Got out my old SP3 CD but
ran into CRC probs. Downloaded SP3 from M'soft
as an EXE file, which worked fine.

Do not remember where I got the older SP3 disc,
but it has autorun, and an htm file with installation
information. I would really like to build something
like this from the EXE fle.

How would I create an SP3 disc with autorun
and all from the downloaded SP3 EXE file??

You download SP3.iso here and burn your disc. Its just like ordering
it from MS.

I used AutoStreamer to slipstream XP3. Is the result any different
with this method? It has the advantage that SP3 does the integration
itself (actually I think the same thing happens with AutoStreamer), but
the disadvantage that it requires a specific disk writing program, that
I'd prefer not to use.

Interesting. I've been using the EXE for my slipstreaming. The ISO is
bigger - what extra stuff does it have (if any)? What's the difference?

The ISO has the .exe on it along with, well to me, just junk. I've
never used any of it, or done more than look beyond the directory.
The OP just asked "where can I get the SP3 CD", and I assumed he meant
the ISO. The EXE form will work for installs, upgrades, slipstream
etc. I downloaded the ISO for the extra stuff since I have good
bandwidth and heck, I gotta put something on a CD and the exe takes up
so little room, and I just might want something later.
