Mail transfer

I would like to transfer my mail which I have in a folder on my laptop under
local folder in Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail on my desktop. Can
anyone help?

Is this just one folder in the Windows Mail folder tree? Create a folder
on the Desktop and drag all the messages into it. Copy this folder to the
Win7 Desktop. Create a folder in WLMail and drag the messages into it.
