lost wmp tag info with update from XP to windows 7

Hi all,

Music CDs that i had tagged and burned with WMP using XP no longer display
the tag info now that I have a new computer with Windows 7. I'm sure this is
probably an easy fix, but have ben unbale to locate a thread with the same
problem.

When burning music CDs with WMP, the tag info is not burned to the
actual CDs, but only saved in the local library. Since the new PC uses a
different library, I'm afraid that this tag info is now lost (unless
you still have the source music files from which the CDs were created)

Note that burning tag info to CDs is possible (this is called CD-Text),
but not with WMP. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-Text for more info.
