In spite of having the latest driver installed, and the fact that scrolling
works in every other Microsoft Office application, not to mention 3rd. party
apps, why doesn't it work in IE8?
Scrolling Logitech devices seems to be a particular mystery to IE
programmers, looking at all the previous postings.

How do you know it's not a mystery to Logitech programmers?

Make sure you have the page selected, instead of a flash element. This
messes up scrolling everywhere. Click in a blank space on the page.
