Loads 7, then goes blank

Hi guys, errr people,
I bought this acer on ebay, and I got a new hard drive and loaded win7, but then after it loads all and fine, the screen goes blank, I tried restarting, and it will go to the splash screen, then blank again, any ideas?

Do I have to check some bios settings or something?
