I'm going to link microphone to my home computer and I'd like
listening sounds from remote pc at work.
What can you suggest me for capture and save audio stream and
listening it in real time by remote pc ?
Is this the correct group to post it ?

You could do it by setting up a Remote Desktop connection to your home PC,
which would require Windows XP Professional. The setup is not trivial and
you may want to engage someone experienced in such matters. Here are the
basic steps:
1. Register a free domain name with an organisation such as www.dyndns.com.
2. Set up your router to report your external IP address to www.dyndns.com.
If your router has no facility for this, install and configure a driver from
dyndns. If your ISP gave you a fixed IP address then you can skip Steps 1
and 2.
3. Give the RDP host a fixed IP address.
4. Enable RDP on the RDP host.
5. Create a router rule so that port 3389 packets are forwarded to the RDP
host. To make yourself less of a target you should actually change this port
to something else, e.g., 27165. This involves a registry hack.

You should also discuss the matter with the network administrator because of
the risk of saturating the office's Internet link.
