Keeping MSN.com as my Home Page

I, often run a program called..."Advanced System Optimizer" wherein I,
amongst other diagnostic devices, I delete my cookies....which causes My
Homepage to become 'blank.'

Does anyone know the name of the cookie that I do not have to delete in
order to maintain my homepage as MSN.com?

Thank you,

FLKulchar

Look in Cookies right after cleaning and resetting the Home page to MSN.

"Advanced System Optimizer" is a utility that will cause more
problems. One of its settings will clear out your home page
settings.

I would consider dumping this utility.

If you talk about the Homepage of IE, it's stored in the registry:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page
as e.g. REG_SZ http://www.google.de/

Use CCleaner. Cleans out the crap and leaves your homepage alone.
