Keeping MSN.com as Homepage

I, often run a program called..."Advanced System Optimizer" wherein I,
amongst other diagnostic devices, I delete my cookies....which causes My
Homepage to become 'blank.'

Does anyone know the name of the cookie that I do not have to delete in
order to maintain my homepage as MSN.com?

Thank you,

Your homepage is not stored in a cookie. It is a registry entry.

The HomePage is not blank because the cookies are reset. It's blank because
you have checked a box that resets IE to the default settings.

Click TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS, and set your homepage(s) as you want them,
then when you use the optimizer, do not select the Reset IE to Default
checkbox.

I delete all cookies and Temporary Internet files every time I close IE, and
my homepage(s) are never affected. I'm not sure, but I think this should
keep you from needing the optimizer. The downside is that IE does not
remember where I live, so my weather and Local News is not local to me until
I re-enter my ZIP Code after restarting IE.

You're welcome & thanks very much for your feedback.

If you ever think your Registry needs to be cleaned, repaired, boosted,
tuned-up, cured, tweaked, fixed, or optimized (it doesn't), read
