Back in my school days, calculus was a sophomore college course. Now, if
one wants to major in anything even the slightest bit technical and they
haven't had calculus in high school they will probably be admitted
conditionally. Also, statistics (more valuable to the general population
than calculus) is available in some high schools. (My son-in-law teaches
both.)

You are a walking breathing cliché. I am not a crapsman (BTW
there is no such word), 98SE will run almost everything, aside
from the fact that ANY well-written 32 bit program should run on
everything from Win95 to Win7, and that there has been nothing
/really/ new written for ages, except rewrites of stuff from the
80's and 90's with 50MB of eye candy added (new technology such
as DivX or mpc excepted - my 98SE machine handles both just
fine, BTW), and I am not a troll, but you, in spite of
moderately interesting nick, are a moron. {Just Googled for your
nick. I take it back. It is stupid like you are. Nothing like
dumb bestsellers for the new generation of illiterates, huh?}

[shakes head] Pathetic. Not to mention totally clueless.

Is WebTV still available? <EG>

Uhuh. So, crapsman, which cliché am I?

Just fucking Google it. Cretin.

Sure, that's a nice assertion, but you've nothing to back it up with.

Just how many "well-written" programs do you believe are out there?

MANY respectable programs fail to run under an OS that didn't exist when
they were written. Given the fact that modern computers are 64-bit, and run
best with a 64-bit OS, fewer and fewer old progs will run under the newer
OSes.

Dhamn, you're an ignorant one.

A troll, AND a liar.

If it were a dumb bestseller, I'd agree with you, gerbiler. As Pratchett's
work is extremely intelligent, it isn't surprising that you've no interest
in it.

Well, I don't recall calling you either, but both are certainly true about
you.

BTW, if you ever manage to work your way back out of the bozo bin, I'd
appreciate a report of what you've seen down there.

Sadly, yes. Under a different name, of course.
