    Hi VG,

    Windows Version?

Basically you have to reset your default 'Player' application for media
files. The instructions differ depending upon which Windows version your
    have... XP, Vista, Windows 7.

Please always quote your Windows version, Service pack level, IE version and
any error messages you receive (in full detail)...

"Media player plugin has stopped working" does not tell us anything...

Go to the Windows Media center radio guide

    http://www.windowsmedia.com/radioui/home.aspx

and click on some of the 'Listen' links there and tell us exactly what
    occurs.

This is not the newsgroup for Windows Media Player questions, but hey... I
could send you to answers/windows7/Internet Explorer with the rest of the
    hapless XP/IE6 users.

    Regards.

I was having this problem as well. The solution I found that works for me was disabling the proxy in IE. I'm not sure how it was enabled in the first place, but oh well.
Goto (IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings)
And uncheck your proxy. (uncheck Use a proxy server for you LAN)

if you are still have problem with your Intenet Explorer, Download Windows Explorer Repair Tool and install it. play this tool to fix any or all problems with your Internet Explorer. You may receive the Internet Explorer error message due to many reasons. Some of the reasons explained here:
