Installation question

I plan to install IE7 on my computer (WinXP SP3) that presently runs IE6. I
have downloaded the IE7 installer .exe. My question is: Will I loose my
favorites, cookies and other info used by IE6 after I install IE7?

Hi,
Your Favorites, Cookies, settings and stored passwords/login data will be
preserved.

If you want to be certain that Favorites and AutoComplete data are
preserved, Export Favorites from IE> File> Import and export. You can also
export cookies, but I've never bothered.

This free program will display stored website login data and allow you to
save that data in several formats.

You're worrying about "loose" icons?

[If you do it correctly & everything's OK now, no, none that data will be
lost.]
