Importing text files (PowerToy?)

So far, I have yet to see the capability in OneNote to import a text
file into a note, or better yet a series of text files into individual
notes.

Anyone willing to contemplate the creation of a PowerToy for this? Or
is it something in OneNote 2010 that I've so far missed seeing?

I wrote one for English at

it needs to be extended for other languages, so feel free to hop in!

Thanks. Tried it out just now, pointed to a folder where there are a
lot of files and sub-folders, but only a couple of TXT files, and
selected the target notebook. Clicked the Import button and the
system popped OneNote (2010 x64) open and ground on the hard drive for
a while but nothing imported. After about 20 minutes I closed the
program.

Is there a 64-bit issue? A Windows 7 x64 issue? Or did I just screw
something up?

Hi Steve,

I just noticed a bug that works like this: if you specifically select to
import files to Unfiled Notes, the app will hang.

To work around this, don't select Unfiled Notes. Just click Import and the
notes will be imported there. Choosing another selection should be OK.

If that is not the error, can you jump into a debugger and let me know where
you are seeing the hang?

That was indeed the error. I just tried it using a different target,
and it worked fine.

Thanks!
