Windows xp Problem

Trying to log on to my user name I enter the pass word the windows starts to
log on then immediately logs off back to the enter password point of windows,
the desktop never gets a chance to load at all.

I also tried to go into safe mode with no luck, just a solid blue screen..no
error codes or messages. All advanced boot options ie safe mode, safe mode w
networking, w command prompt resulted in the solid blue screen also. .

Any help would be appreciated.

This is most likely caused by a malware/virus infection. Type the words

"userinit.exe" logon loop

into a Google search box to see how to deal with the issue.
