Save it. Then close all programs including your anti-virus. Go to where
you saved it and now install it.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2;
Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) when posting in a forum or
newsgroup. Please do so in your next reply.

And, "maybe", if you happen to have Comodo installed on your computer,
completely uninstall Comodo first (not just turn it off) before installing
IE8 I had to do that to get my IE8 install to work (I was using Windows XP
SP3). I posted about that recently.

I had that problem as well. it turns out to have been a problem with an
add-on in the 32-bit IE. Since the 64-bit IE can't use 32-bit add-ons, it
didn't have that problem. Try disabling all add-ons in the 32-bit version,
restart IE and try it for a while. If the errors are gone,, try enabling one
add-on at a time until the errors appear again. Disable the last add-on
re-enabled then go on to the next disabled add-on and repeat the process.
There may be more than one bad add-on and you want to find them all.
That should help you pinpoint exactly which add-on or add-ons are
causing the problem.
