IE8 very slow to open url's when browsing websites. Happens on all sites.
IE8 takes about 6 seconds or more once I click. I don't have the problem
when using other browers such as google chrome or firefox. I'm on comcast
and using their Norton Suite. How can I speed things up.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., Vista SP2; Vista 64-bit SP2)
as well as your current IE version when posting in an IE-specific forum or
newsgroup. Please do so in your next reply.

Did you used to have the Comcast freebie McAfee Security Center installed?

Had another Norton application or a McAfee application ever been installed
(e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled on the computer when you
bought it)?
