IE8: stop tab switching

hi, not sure if there is a setting in IE8 for when you right click on a link
to open a window in a new tab, to keep it from jumping to the new tab. I
need to open a few tabs at a time before going through the windows 1 by 1.

recently reset inet settings, and lost that ability. thanks

You can also change whether a tab opens in the foreground or background by
pressing Ctrl-Shift when clicking on a link. E.g. when Ctrl-Click is
opening a link's page in a foreground tab, Ctrl-Shift-Click would open it
in a background tab.
