IE8 - Restore Last Session

Flightless Bird
Periodically, in IE8, when I launch the program, I get the message
whether to "Restore Last Session". If I click OK, nothing is
restored. Why am I getting this message, when the last use of IE8
shut down normally?

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit
SP2; Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) as well as your
current IE version (e.g., IE6, IE7, IE8) in your first post.

What is wrong with this newsgroup - in getting answers???
