IE6 vs IE8 favorites

IE6 favorites would list the most frequently visited sites at teh top of the
list.
I have installed IE8 and I can't figure out how to make it do the same thing.

Please help if you can.

Hi Alan,

IE8 does not do that on the Files>Favorites menu because the History can be
deleted or blocked by InPrivate browsing mode. The connection between
Favorite links and visitation history is no longer valid.

Go Tools>Internet Options - Content tab, Autocomplete Settings button

and turn on auto complete for Favorites and History.

You can then use the 'Smart' Address bar freechur in IE8...... as you start
to type in the address bar a drop-down list of matching Favorites or History
items will be presented.

The most probable option (based on visitation frequency) will be presented
at the top of the list. You can quickly navigate to that link by pressing
Shift-Enter while focus is in the IE8 Address bar (aka Navigation bar).
