Hi,

While loging into OpenID, the
internet explorer 6 crashes.
Is there any workaround to this bug ?

I would prefer not to upgrade the
Internet explorer unless the
upgrade is done for free.

Thx in advans,

The Upgrade to IE 8 is free. It also comes with Service Pack 3. If your XP
is not up to SP3, this could be part of the problem you're having. If you
are up to SP3 and still running IE6, I'm confused as to how that can happen.

Both IE7 and IE8 are free (if you're running WinXP SP3) but you do NOT want
to upgrade in hopes of fixing an existing problem.

Is Automatic Updates enabled and is the computer fully-patched at Windows
Update?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the
computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

In the computer that was used during that
time, i think, the automatic updates was
not enabled.
