How to Initiate a Login for Internet Explorer

Unlike most user Iam wanting to set up my computer to prompt me for a login
when I click on IE. Currently when I am logged in as me (administrator) and
I click on IE it automatically comes up. I want to prevent other users from
access the internet when I am logged in by prompting for a login to access
IE. I have gone to Internet options,/Security/ then Custom Level and scroll
down to User Authentication/Logon and have checked "Prompt for user name and
password" but it still allows automatic login when I click on IE. Can
somehlp me have IE prompt for a login?

Thanks, Will

Why are you allowing other users to run applications under your account? Why
not give them their own user account?

The option you've ticked is just for enabling/disabling the automatic login
to a website that use Integrated Authentication, which for public websites
will have no effect.

Ctrl-Alt-Delete and selecting "Lock Computer" will keep others from
accessing the internet through your account. :)

Works on XP, 2000, and NT4 too - I do it all the time at work and at home.
Or press WinKey + L, much quicker ;)
