I can't find a "windows" button on my keyboard. win + alt.

Does anyone know an easy way to make a shortcut that I can pin on the
taskbar?

I Googled and didn't like the methods.

I mean, was it so hard for MS to make the feature simpler to use?

thanks

I have never found a keyboard with both a "Windows" key and 12 F-Keys on
the left where they were always intended to be. On all my machines I use
"Gateway 2000 'AnyKey'" programmable keyboards (bought on eBay) with the
F-keys in the right place in addition to the useless ones along the top
(which I suppose I could program to do something completely different).

With left-hand F-Keys I can do any combination of F-key + any two of
Alt, Shift and Ctrl with just one hand.

I asked my brother who is in the computer biz. He said, "it's on the left
at the bottom". I looked and - there it was!!!!

Then I loaded up a few programs - and pressed win + alt a bunch of times -
it didn't work!!!!

Now I know why - thanks.

That's because it's WIN + TAB and not the alt key as you've discovered.

No Dr. Tinto is a real doctor. Dr. Tinto would be happy to treat you. Dr.
Tinto notices that you have a preoccupation with your own mortality which
impacts your interaction with others. Are you terminally ill with a short
term prognosis? Look at the bright side, we are all dying from the moment
of birth. None of us will avoid it.

You might wonder; Is Dr. Tinto a "good" doctor? I cannot answer that
question objectively. Nationwide, there are five deaths per year per
hospital, due to "mistakes". I admit to burying a few mistakes in my
career. Only one was by design rather than an accident. An abrasive
jackass,- someone with the same personality as yours, wanted to "dual" with
Dr. Tinto. It was easy to misdiagnose his problem and prescribe the wrong
drugs. He went downhill fast. If you would like to "end it all", Dr. Tinto
would be more than happy to help. I can prescribe the right "medicine" for
you, but if you want to blow your brains out instead, I would be happy to
send you a "Saturday night special".
