Homegroups

I have Win 7 / 64 on my Desktop , and Starter on my netbook. When I set up
Homegroups, everything worked correctly. ( I also use ZoneAlarm Extreme
Security and have enabled IPv6 ).

Currently the Desktop shows " No Other Homegroup computers are currently
available " but I can access the Homegroup ( on the Desktop computer ) from
the Netbook. I'm not sure where to start trying to sort it out ? If I
disable the Firewall in ZA , it makes no difference.

TIA

What will make the difference that you are looking for is to remove and uninstall
ZA. That will solve your issue

Thanks Peter..

As I said , originally it DID work. After I posted the message , I went back
and took another look. I selected DOCUMENTS and SHARE WITH HOMEGROUP (
read/write ) and everything popped up again. ZA has a lot to answer for (
along with all the rest of them ) but it looks like it's off the hook this
time.<G>
