Has WINDOWS 7 RC Differences To Retail ???

I've spent many recent weeks fighting with the 64 Bit Ultimate RC version ..
Many problems with not able to install many of my Hardware
Devices....A long list.
The Damn thing wouldn't even work the Motherboard Built in
Ethernet Controller .

I have now installed a Retail version also 64 bit Ultimate & find that
it' s (apparently) much better .
Is retail (Version Dated Mid 2009) supposed to be significantly different
from the RC ???

Hi, Trimble.

No significant changes between the RC and RTM versions of Win7, so far as I
recall. Except, of course, for the end-of-life "features" built into the RC
version.

My Win7 Ultimate x64 works well with the gigabit Ethernet controller (2
ports) built into my motherboard. (Pre-beta, beta and RC versions worked
well, too.)

It might be that with the RC I installed the Nvidia Video drivers &
Sound Driver & Direct X first & my other Hardware (mostly USB devices).
afterwards.
But it should have detected the on motherboard Marvell Ethernet at 1st
setup.
Plug n Play as has the Retail @@@

No end of life if you have cracked it! There are crackers out there
for such matters!

I guess you don't read the EULA's or pay attention to what is illegal or
not.
Open source is good for you...at least you're not breaking any laws when you
use it.

You would advise taking that insane security risk, to save $100? A
full System Builder copy from Newegg (Home Premium) can be obtained
for about that much. Legal, easier, and safe.

Well that is a matter that may someday be thoroughly tested in the courts.

No because Microsoft doesn't either. If breaking laws is good for
Microsoft, it is good for me too.

There is no security risk what so ever unless Microsoft is supplying
infested trial versions and beta versions.

Very unlikely because M$ has been advised that its EULA is
completely illegal under certain jurisdictions in the world.

Is this all you know? Can't you write or ask for something
better? You seem to have a very small brain, very large gut and
very small penis and so brain isn't working optimally! Do you
wank all the time to relieve yourself?

Hey fuck face, you are the one making the claim..." because M$ has been
advised that its EULA is completely illegal under certain jurisdictions
in the world".

Care to provide the verifiable, empirical data, to backup that claim?
No?
Figures!...Hahahah...You are the fucking wanker!
Oops!...LOL!

You hope it helped to claim that there aren't any malicious cracked
copies of Windows 7 RTM? It's not that *all* are malicious - pirating
Windows *can* be done, if one is really that much of what MS calls a
"mad scientist", and I've known plenty who have. But recommending it
on a newsgroup like this is not responsible. Not when the real thing
can be had affordably. I've paid for two copies, myself. Well worth
avoiding the headache, and selfishness, of pirating it.

Well, yeah, basically. Frank's statement is presumably meant to troll
the Linux people, but then again, he jumped on me for recommending
Firefox over IE. It's actually as if he has something against the
concept of alternatives, especially free ones (except for how he posts
with Thunderbird, of course - really bright guy).

No, I didn't.
I challenged your statement that FF was more secure than IE.
I proved you wrong.
Live with it.

Try reading my original statement and maybe taking that GED reading
comprehension course you've been contemplating.

Which is one of the dumbest things anyone could ever do.

Not even in the slightest.

Live with the fact that you're delusional, peculiar, and downright a
fruitcake? Well, life isn't perfect, so I've learned to live with
things like that.

Well that is a matter that may someday be thoroughly tested in the
courts.

What other conclusion could one reach, in the context of your tirades
against Linux, and blatant foolishness about IE being more secure than
Firefox, than that you are criticizing open-source software as somehow
ripping off commercial software?

If you want to clarify your "original statement", feel free - flaming
me about taking a GED reading course isn't clarifying anything,
retard.

Of course a Release Candidate is different from Retail. A release
candidate is nothing more than a final beta version before RTM (Release
to Manufacturing). There are many changes between an RC and the RTM.
